Bridge toll Denmark: Öresund Bridge – toll between Denmark and Sweden
The Öresund Bridge is certainly a household name for most people, as it is the world's longest cable-stayed bridge for combined road and rail traffic. It connects Denmark and Sweden. If you drive over the Öresund Bridge, you will be on the bridge for a total of almost 8 kilometers and another four kilometers through an underwater tunnel.
You can imagine that the cost of building it was enormous – 3 billion euros to be exact. To compensate for the costs of the Öresund Bridge, a toll is due on the journey. The toll booths are located on the Swedish side.
A bridge toll is also due for the toll in Spain and the toll in Portugal.
