New Dacia Bigster (2025): From 23,990 euros in Germany
Dacia has given the go-ahead for the Bigster – the new C-SUV model that will be one class above the popular Duster in the future. With a starting price of 23,990 euros and extensive equipment packages, the Bigster aims to appeal to price-conscious buyers with more space requirements and modern technologies. The first models will be available at dealerships from May 2025.
Visually and technically, the Bigster shows clear parallels to the smaller Duster, but looks more mature. With a length of 4.57 meters (Duster: 4.34 meters), the Bigster offers significantly more space, especially in the interior and trunk. How do we come up with this? We were already sitting in it! The design language remains typical Dacia – robust and pragmatic – but is enhanced by new details such as an optional two-tone paint job or an electric panoramic glass sunroof.
Four equipment variants
Let's move on to the equipment: The Bigster is available in the "Essential", "Expression", "Journey" and "Extreme" versions. All lines build on each other and, according to the manufacturer, are intended to cover different needs:
- Essential (from 23,990 euros) offers solid basic features such as LED headlights, manual air conditioning, 17-inch alloy wheels and a 10.1-inch touchscreen media system. In addition, ED daytime running lights and dipped beams with automatic headlights, LED taillights and a leather-look steering wheel, height and depth adjustable. A good entry-level model for the price-conscious. But there are no extras here except for the paintwork.
- Expression (from 24,990 euros) expands the range with a two-zone automatic climate control, an electric parking brake and a folding 40/20/40 rear bench seat with easy-fold function. In addition, for the first time, various options subject to an extra charge can be selected here.
For example, the "Winter Plus Package" with heating of the windscreen, steering wheel and front seats for 540 euros. Or the "Easy Package" (750 euros) with parking aid on the front and sides, keyless entry, multi-view camera and blind spot warning.
- Journey (from 26,840 euros) is designed for long-distance comfort. Highlights include electrically adjustable seats, a 10-inch driver display, navigation, 18-inch alloy wheels, and a keyless entry and start system. In addition, an electrically operated tailgate is included. For an extra 400 euros, there are unusual 19-inch alloys for a Dacia.
- Extreme (from 26,990 euros) is aimed at outdoor enthusiasts with rubber floor mats, modular roof rails and easy-care MicroCloud seat covers. Here, the electric panoramic glass sunroof is also standard, for the Journey it costs 850 euros extra.
The standard colour is white, all other paints cost 700 euros extra. For 500 euros there is a factory navigation system.
Engine range with electrified options
The Bigster offers only gasoline engines, a diesel is not planned. The newly launched HYBRID 155 combines a 1.8-litre four-cylinder petrol engine with a full hybrid system and is available from the "Expression" equipment line. For all-wheel-drive fans, the TCe 130 4x4 remains the first choice, while the ECO-G 140 (LPG/petrol) wants to score points with its low operating costs. However, the entry-level engine is a pure three-cylinder gasoline engine with 140 hp.

Essential | 23.990 € | 24.090 € | - | - |

Excesses | 26.990 € | €27,090 | €29,990 | €30,590 |
Comfort and safety
Compared to the Duster, the Bigster offers more comfort features in every trim level. Even from the basic version, a reversing camera, a digital 7-inch instrument cluster and electrically adjustable exterior mirrors are standard. From "Journey" onwards, features such as an inductive charging pad, an electric tailgate and adaptive cruise control are added.

Dacia Bigster (2025)
The Bigster also stands out in terms of safety features: it comes with an extended active emergency brake assist, a lane departure warning system and a safety distance warning system. Especially for families, the additional security is likely to be a decisive selling point. And there is also a selling point for outdoor enthusiasts – in the form of the "Sleep Pack". This consists of a camping box in the trunk and a mattress for a total of 1,590 euros. It is already known from the jogger and darker.
Dacia now offers an extended warranty for the new Dacia Bigster and the entire model range, which can be extended annually. This means that the new car warranty can be extended to up to seven years or 150,000 kilometres in the future. The prerequisite is that maintenance must be carried out by an authorized Dacia dealer.
